Drama: Boys Before Flowers/Hana Yori Dango/Meteor Garden

Three series (there's even an anime and manga) with basically the same story, but it is quite a beloved story. The story funny and interesting and quite popular. It is about a normal girl who is thrust into the world of luxury. She ends up attending a school for the socially elite. This school has a group of guys who rule the school - F4. F4 is made up of the four richest and most powerful family's sons. Anybody who offends F4 become targets of the whole school's bullying. The main girl attracts the attention of F4 and that is when her troubles begin.

Notes: I am considering embedding one of these series. Any suggestions on which one?


Boys Before Flowers (Korean version)
Rating: 10/10
Pros: Well developed characters and plot story. The romance of the love triangle is more developed and it feels more passionate. Oh, and the guys are cute! (^_^)
Cons: None that I can think of xD

Rating: 7/10
Pros: Not too many episodes - however, to achieve this, they had to squish a lot of things together.
Cons: A bit too extreme. Season 2 and 3 sucked.

Pros: I enjoyed the story - this was the first version I watched.
Cons: Too long. Season 2 was horrible.

Anime: Ouran High School Host Club

Rating 10/10
This anime is about a scholarship student at a school for the rich, who is mistaken as a boy and is forced to join the school's host club o repay a huge debt. You will fall in love with each of the amazing characters and join them on the ride of their lives as they go on adventures and learn new things about each other and themselves.
Pros: MY FAVORITE ANIME EVER! It is hilarious and very entertaining. Although the romance department was a bit lacking, but it is extremely amusing. I loved the interactions between the characters and all the character backgrounds have a chance to be developed. It is not a long series, so I was quite disappointed when it ended. I'm still hoping for a season 2.
Cons: Only thing I was annoyed with was the rival all girls school episodes. Those were very annoying.

There's a manga (桜蘭高校ホスト部). I don't read manga so I don't have much to say about it.
There's also a new drama with the same name. I have not started watching it, but I am hoping it is just as good as this anime.
